Our story
We have sat in both seats
Every rule this company runs on came from something that went wrong when we were on the other side of it.
Freight Bridge started because a group of owner-operators were spending their evenings doing a second job: refreshing load boards, arguing over detention, and chasing brokers for a rate confirmation that should have arrived hours earlier. The driving was the easy part.
On the other side of the same loads sat shipping managers who could not get a straight answer about where their freight was, and who had been burned by a cheap carrier with a lapsed insurance certificate. Both groups were paying for the same broken middle.
So we built the middle we wanted: one team that negotiates honestly for the carrier, screens rigorously for the shipper, and does not disappear at five o’clock. It is not a complicated idea. It is just unusually rare.

Four rules we do not bend
These are the standards a dispatcher is held to here, and the ones you can hold us to.
Say the real number
If a lane pays badly this week, we tell you. If a rate is not worth your truck, we say so. Nobody builds a business on flattering people into bad loads.
Answer the phone
Freight does not keep office hours. A person picks up at two in the morning because that is when the wheel comes off.
Own the whole load
From the rate confirmation to the signed POD to the invoice. No handoffs between departments that leave a driver holding the problem.
Treat carriers like partners
The truck is the business. Squeeze the carrier and you lose the capacity — and then you lose the shipper too.

Started with a handful of owner-operators who wanted somebody to handle the phone calls while they drove.

Carriers kept asking for direct freight, so we built the brokerage side to bring shippers to the same table.
