Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Freight Bridge LLC (“Freight Bridge”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit freightbridge.us, submit a form, ask about dispatch service, apply to run under dispatch with us, or otherwise communicate with our dispatch and accounting desks.

We are a freight dispatch service and our customers are motor carriers and owner-operators. The people whose information we hold are carriers, owner-operators, their drivers and their office staff, and visitors to our website.

It covers our website and the dispatch services we deliver from it. It does not cover the independent privacy practices of brokers, shippers, factoring companies or load boards you deal with separately, even where we introduced you or submitted your packet to them.

We are a United States business operating from 1500 N Grant St # 11281, Denver, CO 80203. This policy is written for United States law.

We collect only what we need to set up dispatch service, find and negotiate loads for your truck, support your invoicing and answer your questions. The categories below describe what we may collect over the past twelve months.

Identifiers

• Name, company or DBA name, and job role.
• Email address, telephone number and mobile number.
• Mailing or terminal address and billing address.
• Account credentials or reference numbers we issue to you.

Commercial and shipment information

• Origin, destination, lanes, pickup and delivery windows.
• Commodity, weight, dimensions, equipment type and special handling needs.
• Rates offered and agreed by brokers and shippers, accessorial charges, invoices and payment records.
• Bills of lading, proof of delivery, rate confirmations and load documents.

Carrier authority and compliance information

• MC number, USDOT number and FMCSA operating authority status.
• Certificates of insurance, coverage limits and policy expiry dates.
• Safety rating, inspection and CSA data drawn from public FMCSA sources.
• W-9, payment remittance details and factoring company notice of assignment.

Technical and usage data

• IP address, browser type, device type and operating system.
• Pages viewed, referring URL, and the page a form was submitted from.
• Date and time stamps, including the UTC timestamp stored with a consent record.
• Approximate location inferred from IP address at city or region level.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government identification images, health data or biometric data through this website. Please do not send those to us through a web form.

We use personal information for the following business purposes.

• Responding to carrier and owner-operator enquiries and setting up dispatch service.
• Searching for loads, negotiating rates with brokers and shippers on your behalf, and completing broker setup packets in your name.
• Tracking and documenting the loads we dispatch for you, including check calls and paperwork.
• Confirming your operating authority, insurance and safety standing so we can represent you accurately to brokers and shippers.
• Invoicing our dispatch fee, supporting your invoicing, collections and factoring coordination.
• Providing customer support by email and text message.
• Maintaining records required by federal transportation and tax rules.
• Detecting and preventing fraud, identity misuse, spam and abuse of our forms.
• Improving the website, our load sourcing and our service quality.
• Sending service updates and, where permitted, occasional marketing about our services.

We do not use automated decision making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you without a person reviewing the outcome.

If you give consent, we send SMS and MMS messages about your dispatch request, load offers, load status, dispatch updates and customer support. Consent is collected through the checkbox on our website forms. That checkbox is unchecked by default and is never required to submit a form or to be set up for dispatch.

When you opt in we store the exact consent language shown to you, the page URL, your time zone, a hashed IP address, your browser type and a UTC timestamp. That record is our proof of consent.

Marketing texts about offers and news are a separate, optional checkbox. You can agree to dispatch texts without agreeing to marketing texts. Replying STOP ends both.

Calls from an AI or prerecorded voice are also a separate, optional checkbox. We place them only to numbers whose owner ticked it, and the voice says it is an AI assistant. You can withdraw by telling the caller or emailing us. Calls with our team may be recorded and transcribed for quality and record keeping, and we tell you at the start of the call when that happens. Recordings, transcripts and AI summaries are processed by our telephony and AI service providers on our behalf only.

• Opt in: check the SMS consent box on a form at freightbridge.us.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages.
• Help: reply HELP to any message, or email us at the address below.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Full program details are set out in our SMS Messaging Terms.

We share personal information only where it is needed to book loads for you or to run our business, and only with the categories of recipient listed here.

Brokers and shippers whose freight you haul

To book a load on your behalf we share your information with the broker or shipper offering that freight, and with their agents: your company and entity details, MC and USDOT numbers, certificate of insurance, W-9, equipment and availability, and the driver and dispatch contact details needed for pickup and delivery. That is what a broker setup packet and a rate confirmation consist of, and submitting it on your instructions is how a dispatcher books a load. The load then moves under your authority, on your contract with that broker or shipper.

Service providers

We use vendors for email delivery, website hosting, document storage, accounting, payment processing and telecommunications. They may process personal information only on our instructions, for our purposes, and under confidentiality obligations. They are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, court order or a request from a regulator such as the FMCSA, and where necessary to investigate fraud, enforce our agreements, defend a claim, or protect the safety of any person.

Business transfers

If our business is merged, acquired or reorganized, information may transfer to the successor entity, which will remain bound by this policy until it publishes a replacement.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

We do not rent, trade or license carrier or owner-operator contact lists to third parties for their own marketing.

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working, remember your light or dark theme choice, and support anti-spam controls on our forms. These cannot be switched off through the site.

Where we use analytics, it is limited to aggregate measurement of traffic and page performance so we can improve the site. We do not run third-party advertising pixels or cross-site retargeting tags on this website.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no common standard for them, but we do honor recognized opt-out preference signals where state law requires it.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and then for the period required by law or by our insurers.

• Enquiry and onboarding records: up to 24 months from last contact, unless you become a dispatch customer.
• Load, rate confirmation and dispatch fee records: at least 3 years, consistent with federal transportation record-keeping rules.
• Financial and tax records: at least 7 years.
• SMS consent and opt-out records: for the life of the program and at least 4 years after opt-out, so we can evidence consent.
• Website server logs: typically 90 days.

When a retention period ends we delete the information or de-identify it so it can no longer reasonably be linked to you.

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. These include encryption in transit, access controls limiting data to staff who need it, vendor due diligence, and a strict content security policy on this website.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us at your own risk. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable state law.

California residents

If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purpose and the categories of recipient; the right to delete personal information subject to legal exceptions; the right to correct inaccurate information; the right to opt out of sale or sharing, which does not apply because we do neither; the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, which we do not collect through this site; and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask that agent for proof of authorization.

Other US state privacy laws

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and others as they take effect, generally have rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. We do not engage in those activities. Where a state provides an appeal process, you may appeal a decision we make on your request by replying to our response.

How to exercise your rights

Email account@freightbridge.us with the subject line “Privacy Request”. Tell us which right you are exercising and the state you reside in. We will verify your identity using information already in our records and respond within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days where permitted. Verification and our response are free unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

This is a business to business website. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, or under 16 where state law sets that threshold.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email account@freightbridge.us and we will delete it promptly.

Our site links to third-party resources such as the FMCSA SAFER system, load boards, broker portals, factoring companies and social media profiles. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Review their policies before you provide information to them.

We operate in the United States and our services are directed to the United States market. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the site you understand that transfer takes place.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology or the law. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. If we make a material change we will provide additional notice, such as an email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
