What this means
We collect the information we need to quote your freight, book your loads and pay you. We share it with the carrier, broker or shipper on the other side of the load, and with vendors who work for us under confidentiality. We do not sell your information, and we never share your mobile number or SMS consent with anyone for marketing. You can ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
01Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Freight Bridge LLC (“Freight Bridge”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit freightbridge.us, submit a form, request a quote, apply to run freight with us, or otherwise communicate with our dispatch and accounting desks.
It covers our website and the business services we deliver from it. It does not cover the independent privacy practices of motor carriers, brokers, shippers, factoring companies or load boards you deal with separately, even where we introduced you.
We are a United States business operating from 1500 N Grant St # 11281, Denver, CO 80203. This policy is written for United States law.

03How we use information
We use personal information for the following business purposes.
- Preparing quotes and responding to carrier and shipper enquiries.
- Arranging, booking, tracking and documenting shipments.
- Verifying carrier authority, insurance and safety standing before dispatch.
- Invoicing, settlement, collections and factoring coordination.
- Providing customer support by phone, email and text message.
- Maintaining records required by federal transportation and tax rules.
- Detecting and preventing fraud, double brokering, spam and abuse of our forms.

We do not use automated decision making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you without a person reviewing the outcome.
04SMS and text messaging
If you give consent, we send SMS and MMS messages about your quote, load status, dispatch updates and customer support. Consent is collected through the checkbox on our website forms. That checkbox is unchecked by default and is never required to submit a form or to receive a quote.
When you opt in we store the exact consent language shown to you, the page URL, and a UTC timestamp. That record is our proof of consent.
- Opt in: check the SMS consent box on a form at freightbridge.us.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages.
- Help: reply HELP to any message, or email us at the address below.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Full program details are set out in our SMS Messaging Terms.
06We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.
We do not rent, trade or license carrier or shipper contact lists to third parties for their own marketing.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
08Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and then for the period required by law or by our insurers.
- Quote and enquiry records: up to 24 months from last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Shipment, rate confirmation and settlement records: at least 3 years, consistent with federal record-keeping rules for brokers.
- Financial and tax records: at least 7 years.
- SMS consent and opt-out records: for the life of the program and at least 4 years after opt-out, so we can evidence consent.
- Website server logs: typically 90 days.
When a retention period ends we delete the information or de-identify it so it can no longer reasonably be linked to you.
09Data security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. These include encryption in transit, access controls limiting data to staff who need it, vendor due diligence, and a strict content security policy on this website.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us at your own risk. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable state law.
10Your privacy rights
California residents
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purpose and the categories of recipient; the right to delete personal information subject to legal exceptions; the right to correct inaccurate information; the right to opt out of sale or sharing, which does not apply because we do neither; the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, which we do not collect through this site; and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask that agent for proof of authorization.
Other US state privacy laws
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and others as they take effect, generally have rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. We do not engage in those activities. Where a state provides an appeal process, you may appeal a decision we make on your request by replying to our response.
How to exercise your rights
Email accounts@freightbridge.us with the subject line “Privacy Request”, or call (713) 249-5252. Tell us which right you are exercising and the state you reside in. We will verify your identity using information already in our records and respond within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days where permitted. Verification and our response are free unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
11Children's privacy
This is a business to business website. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, or under 16 where state law sets that threshold.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email accounts@freightbridge.us and we will delete it promptly.
12Third-party links
Our site links to third-party resources such as the FMCSA SAFER system, load boards, factoring companies and social media profiles. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Review their policies before you provide information to them.
13International visitors
We operate in the United States and our services are directed to the United States market. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the site you understand that transfer takes place.
14Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology or the law. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. If we make a material change we will provide additional notice, such as an email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
