What this means
If you tick the SMS box on one of our forms, we will text you about your quote, your loads and your paperwork. Frequency varies, your carrier may charge you for messages, and you can stop at any time by replying STOP or get help by replying HELP. We never give your mobile number or your consent record to anyone for marketing.
01Program description
Freight Bridge LLC operates an application-to-person (A2P 10DLC) text messaging program for the motor carriers and owner-operators we dispatch for, and who ask to hear from us by text. The registered use case is: Customer care, dispatch follow-up and load status notifications.
Messages are sent as SMS and, where a message includes an image or document, as MMS. You may reply to our messages and reach a live dispatcher during staffed hours.
Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchase, of receiving a quote, or of doing business with us. The consent checkbox on our forms is optional and unchecked by default.
02Who we message and when
We text only people who have given us express written consent by checking an SMS consent box on a form at freightbridge.us, or who have asked a dispatcher to text them and confirmed that request in writing. We never text phone numbers taken from public carrier registries.
You may receive messages in the following situations.
- Confirmation that we received your dispatch enquiry or carrier application.
- Follow-up questions a dispatcher needs answered to work a load for you.
- Load offers, rate confirmations and booking confirmations.
- Pickup, in-transit, detention and delivery status updates.
- Paperwork reminders such as a missing signed bill of lading or proof of delivery.
- Customer support replies to a message you sent us.
We do not send unsolicited marketing blasts, and we do not text numbers we obtained from a purchased list or a third party.
03Marketing messages
Our forms have a second, separate checkbox for marketing texts: dispatch offers, service news and reminders. It is optional and unchecked by default, and you can be dispatched without it.
If you tick it, we send up to 4 marketing messages a month, between 9am and 8pm in your time zone. Reply STOP to any message to end every text from us, marketing and dispatch alike.
04Message frequency
Message frequency varies; typically 2–8 messages per active load.
Frequency depends on how much freight you are running under dispatch with us. A carrier with a truck under load will receive more messages than an owner-operator who asked us a single question. We do not have a fixed campaign schedule.
05Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Freight Bridge LLC does not charge you for the messages. Any charge comes from your mobile plan. Check with your mobile carrier if you are unsure what SMS, MMS or data costs apply to your plan, particularly while roaming.
06How to opt out (STOP)
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages.
You may also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT. Opting out stops the text program only. We can still contact you by phone or email about an active load, and you can ask us to stop those separately.
If you want to rejoin later, check the SMS consent box on a form again or ask a dispatcher to send you a new opt-in link. We will not restart messages on a verbal request alone.
07How to get help (HELP)
Reply HELP for assistance, or email account@freightbridge.us.
A HELP reply returns our program name and support contact details. You can also email account@freightbridge.us, monitored 24/7, holidays included.
08Supported carriers and delivery
The program is supported on major United States mobile carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular and their affiliated and reseller networks. Support on smaller regional carriers may vary.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is best effort and depends on your handset, your plan, network coverage and carrier filtering. Do not rely on SMS alone for time-critical instructions. If a load is at risk, email the dispatch desk.
Text messaging is not a secure channel. Do not send bank account numbers, full Social Security numbers or other sensitive details by text.
09Privacy and no third-party sharing
We store your mobile number, the exact consent language shown to you, the page URL where you opted in, and a UTC timestamp. That record exists so we can evidence your consent.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Our messaging provider processes messages on our behalf under contract and may not use your number for its own purposes. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
